What Hubby and I do at night is sometimes bizarre. Bizarre, but funny.
Well it’s obvious I’m weird, also at night, that’s not the strange thing this time. 😜
It’s the Hub, at night his weirdness shows, which is a good balance in our relationship.
My fright reflexes are tightened too well, that’s why just a sigh can make me jump.
Hubby finds it hilarious and checks regularly if it still works.
For many the night is a moment of rest, while our nights get disturbed sometimes.
A few years back we were woken up by car alarms at night, what kinda annoying is when you’re sound asleep. 😑
Our bedroom is on the first floor facing the street, which was the bad side this time.
When yet another alarm went off, I walked downstairs, a little drowsy, to go pee.
At the same time Hubby walked up to the attic, to look out of the window if maybe there was something to see.
I didn’t hear him walking upstairs, so I assumed he was still lying in bed.
Once I was back in our warm bed, almost sleeping again, I suddenly heard someone walk down the stairs, coming straight at the bedroom. 😱
I don’t know what kind of sound came out of me, but I was pretty startled.
Hubby looked strangely at me, from the front of the bed, (not the reaction you want your woman to have when you’re about to lay next to her, I think..) that’s when I realized he wasn’t lying next to me.
I don’t think I have to explain, it took a while before we fell back to sleep.
Another time Hubby had a very a vivid dream.
The dream was about a goose, who chased him and tried to bite him, it was pretty annoying, Hubby was fed up and gave the goose, in his dream, a smack.
Apparently I was in the route of the goose and got the full blast, an elbow to the chest.
After some struggling, we were lucky to be able to laugh about it.
I’m not the easiest to wake up, this trick worked to wake me up, literally in one snap. 🤣
Then we have the night I woke up with my thumb in his hand, the martyr thumb-clamp version.
I made an attempt to open his hand to get my thumb out. Hubby woke up and asked; “What are you doing?”
Ehhhhh “what are you doing????” He still didn’t let my poor thumb go. 😂
If you think an thumb-clamp hurts..
A week or so ago, Hubby was dreaming again.
I don’t know about what of if I want to know, but in his sleep he grabbed my breast, that I didn’t noticed until I woke screaming when he turned my nipple around. 😱
It hurts when your awake, but when you’re sleeping …
The most hilarious, still makes me laugh.
I don’t sleep very well, this particular night every time I started to doze off I woke up again, pretty annoying.
Hubby dreamed something strange again, no idea what, but suddenly he started shouting. Loudly.
I think everyone would be startled, but with my horror reflexes being too tight and the fact I almost fell asleep, made me shout back at him.
So we were both woken up by our own screaming, confused and a little scared. 🤣
After that we started to laugh like crazy and we’re surprised the neighbors didn’t hear us.
Personally, I would have some questions when I hear my neighbors screaming at night, in our case they know us quite a bit, so I don’t think much surprises them.
This was a little story about our nightly activities, never thought I would write about it, but it’s too funny not to use.
Hubby is always the calm one, but in the night..
I trust him for 110% with my life, but I was just looking for a steel-bra, just to keep my nipples safe. 😉
